Ward Relief Society Presidency Released; New Presidency Called
In Sacrament meeting yesterday, the current ward RS presidency was released from their callings: Robin McLean as President, Karen Rich as 1st Counselor and Carol Caddell as 2nd Counselor. Hands were raised in unison thanking these sisters for their dedication and service to our ward and our sisters.
Sustained as the new Relief Society Presidency for the Glen Allen ward was Lisa Pyron as President, Karen Rich as 1st Counselor and Amy Ladle as 2nd Counselor.
On behalf of all the sisters in Relief Society we want to say a big "thank you" to Robin and her counselors for the many hours of dedicated service and expressions of love they shared with the sisters. At the same time we welcome Lisa and Amy to their new positions and join with Karen in a new presidency. We wish them the best and extend our love and prayers that they will be lead by the Spirit in all they do.
Janice Keene Funeral Arrangements
Sister Janice Keene passed away on Saturday, April 17th. Visitation will be Monday, April 19th at Bliley's Funeral Home, 8510 Staples Mill Road from 6 to 8 pm.
Funeral Service will also be at Bliley's, but on Tuesday, April 20th at 10 am. Dedication of the grave will be at Signal Hill Memorial Park, 12360 Hanover Courthouse Road, Hanover, VA.
The luncheon will be held at the Monument Building. If you've volunteered to bring food for the family luncheon, please bring it by the building between 11 am and noon. If you need to drop it off before 11 am, please bring it to the home of Lisa Pyron or Robin McLean. Thank you in advance to everyone who has agreed to help.
