RS Announcements 7/23/2011

The announcements for this week are as follows:

-Nate and Whitney Hinkle have a microwave that they are willing to donate to anyone who needs it. Please contact Whitney for more information.

-There are two temple trips planned for this upcoming week, on July 26 and July 30. Please contact Faye Mullins if you are interested in carpooling, or want more information.

-Cleo Kay Ladle was born on July 12 to Jon and Amy Ladle. She weighed 6 lbs, 15 oz.

-Also, those interested in contributing to the memory book for Sherry Beadles should contact her daughter, Lisa Thomas, as soon as possible.

RS Announcements 7.12.11

Our sewing activity with the Young Women will be this Wednesday, July 13 at 7pm at the Church. Please bring 4 cups of long grain or brown rice (not instant) with you to the activity to fill your rice bag.

The date for the Stake Relief Society service day activity has changed from Tuesday, August 2 to Saturday, September 24th. More details to come.

A marriage class will be offered during Sunday School for all interested married couples.

RS Announcements 7.7.11

The temple will be closed from July 11 through July 25 for regularly scheduled maintenance.

Two temple trips are scheduled for this month: Saturday, July 9 and Tuesday, July 26.

Get ready for our sewing activity on Wednesday, July 13 with the Young Women. Please bring 3 cups of long grain or brown rice (not instant) with you to the activity to fill your rice bag.

The recipe club will be meeting at Margie Harton's house on Thursday night, July 14th at 6:30pm. The theme for the evening is "Summer lovin, had me some fun." Bring a fun recipe that you love for summer. Please email her
to let her know what you are planning to bring margie.harton@gmail.com.

The Stake Humanitarian Service Day will be Wednesday, August 3 from 10am to 2pm at the stake center. We will be making baby booties, receiving blankets and painting wooden toys to send to the Humanitarian Service Center. We would like sisters to be saving and bring that day:
-flannel for receiving blankets-1 yard pieces
-fleece for baby booties-any smaller pieces and color
-lining for baby booties-flannel or cotton any smaller pieces and colors
-ribbon for baby booties-1/4" wide by 18" long, various colors
Please bring scissors marked with your name and willing hands to work. Lunch will be provided but there will not be a nursery.
