Danielle McCleary
Danielle was born in
California and served a mission in Spain. She met her husband Sean at BYU,
where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. They have four
wonderful children ages 6, 3, and the twins are 1. Four years ago Sean’s job
brought them to the Richmond area where they lived in the Innsbrook Ward until
two months ago. They just bought their home in our ward and they are excited to
get to know everyone! Danielle loves to read! When she has time she will read
anything but she often doesn’t have the time being a full time mom. Her
favorite callings within the church have been in Relief Society as a teacher
and in Compassionate Services. She was just called as the Sunday School Teacher
for the Temple Prep Class.
Kristen Austin
Kristen was born in Ogden, UT and was
raised in Bountiful, UT. Kristen has one daughter who is three months old. She
loves Indian and Mexican food. When she has time she loves to sew and quilt.
Altering clothes is one of her favorite hobbies. She taught elementary school
for six years and just resigned to be home for the next year with her baby, Weslie.
Kristen is excited to be home with her daughter, but sad to leave her students.
Her favorite callings within the church have been in YW’s. She loves working
with them and it is a nice change from what she does on a daily basis. One day
she hopes to move to Washington state to be close to family.
Katherine Palmer
Katherine Palmer: I
just recently got married in May and moved to Virginia from Utah. I'm
originally from St. Louis, but I grew up mostly overseas-- Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia for 11 years and Paris, France for 3. My husband is interestingly
enough from New Zealand, but he grew up in Chicago, so we have a strong
Cardinals-Cubs baseball rivalry between us. We met six years ago at BYU and
were friends for a long time before we (I) finally got our acts together and
sealed the deal. I served a mission in Bosnia and Croatia and studied
Communications and French at BYU. I'm currently undergoing the ever-thrilling
task of trying to find a job in marketing. I love kicking a soccer ball,
playing with dogs and fumbling around on the piano. Most nights you can find me
cooking (burning things in our new kitchen) for my small family and reading a
good John Grisham novel.
