Youth Music Fireside

Sunday, September 30th at 6:30 p.m. in the Cultural Hall (Sunday dress)

Come feel the Spirit through the gift of music.  Ward members are invited to join us and listen to our ward youth & leaders perform sacred and classical music selections.

Congratulations to Keith & Sandra Garcia on the birth of their son(born early) Elias Jonell  Sept 16 weighing 4.6 lbs.(Does someone have a bassinet Sandra could borrow for awhile?  Elias will be coming home sometime next week.)


And to the Gjoligu's on the birth of there little girl born Sept 14 weighing 9lbs 2 oz named Evelina Jane.

This Thursday the 20th the Sister's are having their Temple Trip, if you are interested please talk to either Faye Mullins or Carol Caddel.

9/30 - Our Youth are putting on a Youth Musical Fireside at 6:30 here in our Cultural Hall.

Stake Food Drive at Church you will find a box if you bring your donations to church.  They will be collecting everything on Wednesday Sept 19 during Mutual.

Richmond Stake Fair - September 22

September 22 the Richmond Stake Fair starts at 4:00PM (rain date TBD)

	PoorFarm Park 13400 Liberty School Road poorfarm park. Ashland, VA 23005
Activities:	snow cones popcorn BBQ port and hot dogs dessert contest tug-of-ward cake walk volleyball facepainting corn hole and much more   It will be fun for the whole family

Part-time Nanny needed

There is a part-time nanny position available for a 5 & 2 year old beginning in October.  The hours would be Tuesday/Thursday 1:30-5:30 and then 8-5:30 on Fridays, this would include picking up from preschool so you would need to have your own transportation.  The pay is commensurate with experience.  If you are interested in this kind of work please contact Heidi Maxfield.

Adult Education Class - Sept 12

Next week the Adult Education Class (Institute) will begin Wednesday, September 12th at the Stake Center.  They will meet 10-11:30 and be studying the New Testament.  Sisters in the class take turns watching children in the nursery.  Sister Lansing has manuals.
