Our ward Relief Society presidency was reorganized last Sunday. Lisa Pyron was released and Bernadette Finley was called as our new president. Karen Rich is our first counselor and Amy Ladle is our second counselor. Thank you to Lisa for her great service. We look forward to working with our new presidency.
The sisters temple trip this month will be Thursday, June 30th. Please contact Faye Mulllins if you're interested.

There is a baptism on Sunday at 6pm at the Church for three of our Primary children.
Come to the joint Relief Society/Young Women activity Wednesday, July 13. We will be sewing rice bags (used for heating sore muscles). Email Sarah Passey if you can bring a sewing machine or have experience sewing spassey@hotmail.com.
Congratulations to the Tolers and the Johnsons on the birth of their new daughters. The Tolers' daughter is named Lainee and the Johnsons' daughter is names Alice.
Welcome to new sisters who just moved in: Jen Andersen, Debbie Oliver, Lara McAllister, and Jayne Storey.
We will miss our families that are moving: Myers, Johnsons, Brockbanks, McCormicks, and Rowlands.
Sister Akers is back in Virginia for a few months and is looking for a high chair. If you have one she can use please email her at usmc671@verizon.net.
One of our Young Women, Harley Miles, is looking for babysitting jobs for this summer as well as evening and weekend jobs during the school year. She is available anytime after July 4th and will be getting her license and able to provide her own transportation starting July 18th. Sister Virginia Schutz passed away last week. She is Yvonne Schutz Olive's mother and there will be a memorial service at the Monument building on Wednesday, June 15th at 6:30pm.
Lisa Terrell Thomas is planning to surprise her mother, Sherry Beadles, with a scrapbook for her upcoming birthday. If you remember Sherry and have a story or memory to share please email Lisa Terrell Thomas at ldsmom@verizon.net. Respond by July 1st to ensure your message is included in the book.

The Stake will be hosting an employment and career workshop June 18th from 9am to around 4pm. It will be held at the Stake Center in the Stake High Council room. It is geared towards those who are looking for a job or interested in changing jobs. Some of the topics include defining your skill set, how to network effectively, resume writing, and interviews. This is a very interactive workshop and seating is limited. If you are interested please contact Tish Heflebower at tish.heflebower@gmail.com.

Our ward is responsible for cleaning the bishop's storehouse in June. We need 3 people each Tuesday for about 2 hours, starting at 8am. If you would like to go, please contact Lisa Pyron.
The Relief Society pool party will be this Wednesday, June 8 at 6:30 pm at the Lansings' home. No nursery will be provided but infants are welcome. Email Kate Smith at glenallenrs@gmail.com if you need the address.
Richelle Fawcett is now heading up the playgroup. If you would like to be on the email list contact her at richellehansen@juno.com. School age children are welcome to come over the summer when the group meets at parks. This week they are meeting at Sarah Passey's house.
