Nielsen Baby gofundme Link
Here is the link for the gofundme campaign. I don't want anyone to feel
pressure to donate. If they can't donate or don't want to that is ok. If
they want to share the link with others that would be wonderful.
We are accepting donations online or in person.

Rides for Jo Bennett
Jo
Bennett, a new sister in our ward, is visually impaired and as a result
cannot drive. While Jo is very self-sufficient and is able to do most
things on her own (including babysitting), she could benefit from rides
to church, the grocery store, and other various places, for both her and
her boyfriend (who is also visually impaired.) Jo lives close to the
Kroger on Staples Mill Rd and Hungary. If you are interested in helping
drive Jo and her boyfriend, Jesse, please email Jo directly at jolenebennett80@gmail.com. Make sure you include their name, cell number and the times they are
available so she can easily add it to her list of people to call in a
pinch.

Trunk or Treat and Book Club this Week!
Tonight! Ward Trunk or Treat and Chili Cook-Off
Wednesday, Oct 28, 6 - 8pm @ the Monument Building
Feel free to invite friends and neighbors
Book Club
Ok Ladies! This week is Book Club!
This Thursday, 7pm, Meridith Weber's house 9901 Staples Mill Rd.
There was a request for a second fire-night book club (which I will never pass up) so the fire will be starting this time at 7pm and delicious dutch oven cobbler will be served for dessert.... mmmm. Feel free to bring a treat but not required!
We are discussing the book "And Then There Were None"... and in honor of Halloween and spooky mystery books if everyone's up for it there is an outdoor Murder Mystery game on the back burner....mwahaha.
So come have some cobbler, bring a blanket and camping chair if you have one and have a spooky time.

Missionary Moments and Marble Magnet Sets
RS Quarterly Meeting: Sharing the Gospel and Marble Magnet Gift Set Craft
When: this Wednesday, October 14 at 7pm
Where: the Relief Society Room
![]() |
| Find instructions on Sabby in Suburbia's blog: click here. |
We hope you plan on coming to the upcoming Relief Society Quarterly Meeting!
The missionaries will give a brief lesson about sharing the gospel and then we will get to make a cute gift.
I don't know about you, but Christmas or birthdays roll around and I am stumped over what to give. Marble magnet sets are cute, easy to make, and are as generic or personal as you make them. There will be lots of pre-cut paper circles available at the activity, but feel free to bring your own if you wish. They should be 3/4 inch in diameter.
We are just going to be making the magnets, not the cute packaging shown in the photo above. Altoids tins also make a great package. We will have paint and other supplies to decorate tins. So bring an Altoids tin if you are interested.
